We did enjoy your visit and I have to say your skills and stamina left us all in awe. We asked a lot of you and you more than delivered. It was so valuable to have you amongst us for just a few days – your energy, enthusiasm, critical eye and good humour were all wonderful; I have rearely experienced such a vibrant and up-lifting session as the one you gave for the whole staff on the Friday afternoon. What you managed to do was to touch everyone, and that is no mean skill. I greatly valued your insights into how the school is functioning and was heartening to hear your comments, although, of course, daunting in the amount of work we still have to do. Nevertheless, with people like you on the ‘circuit’, we will get there.
