Quality Circle Time helping pupils to grow emotionally in Australia

Sun, Dec 17th 2006

Jenny Mosely touched down in Brisbane on the 2nd of August 2006 complete with two huge bags of puppets!

Her seminars were coordinated through passionate educator and resilience specialist Maggie Dent who also acted as tour guide and Australian manager. From Brisbane the tour moved to Sydney for two seminars in inner Sydney and Parramatta and then finally on to Perth.

It was in Perth that the smoldering embers of interest and enthusiasm burst into a bright flame. The wonderful day seminar at Presbyterian Ladies College was the first time Jenny was able to do what she does the best...work with a class of students modelling quality circle time. It was insightful and profound to see the gentle weaving of the five steps of quality circle time, in Jenny's warm and safe hands. The students opened up and shared from that amazing place of truth that lies within every child. All those present were touched and inspired. The Teacher Assistant conference the very next day in Fremantle saw Jenny doing two presentations to over 350 dedicated "angels of education."

They loved Jenny's common sense appeal to educators around the world to remember that some of the traditional games and activities are still essential in children's lives both in and out of school. Then Jenny was given a few days to catch her breath in the beautiful South West of Western Australia, especially Dunsborough and Eagle Bay.

Jenny's final seminar for teachers after school on Tuesday 15th August saw many teachers from the all day seminar return for MORE! There was a frantic rush on Jenny's remaining products especially the books and the puppets! Australia needs Jenny's quality circle time to help our children grow emotionally and socially and many teachers are hoping to attend Jenny's train the trainer seminar in Perth in August. There will be another opportunity to attend Jenny's one day seminar as well so that the flame can continue to burn brightly.
