The Connected Learning Zone Conference 20th February 2006
Thu, Jan 1st 1970
Many, many thanks for helping to make our third Zone conference such a big success.
The feedback from schools about the day has been fantastic – again they love the workshop style of the day and have voted for the same next year. Your workshops in particular went down very well with staff, and have some fantastic reviews.
As mentioned on the day, the teachers who attended your workshops were probably stunned by your wonderful delivery – their evaluation comments certainly show that many were deeply reflecting on their practice, thoroughly present in the activities, and perhaps concentrating hard on storing the experiences in their emotional and physical memory! Most importantly you made them feel valued. Their comments are a tribute to your inspirational and professional approach to everything you do.
It was a pleasure meeting you again and a privilege working with you – a real ‘Golden Moment’ in the Zone’s history! Your name will oft be mentioned throughout the Zone’s eight primary schools. I hope that the rest of the year brings you continued success and happiness.
Very best wishes
Elaine Moreton Zone Director
Some comments from delegates at the conference
Excellent ideas – Jenny is an icon! · A wonderful, motivational experience!! Finally something useful to use in the classroom! · Very positive, brilliant ideas, must do circle time every week! · Wow! What a dynamic woman! · Outstanding – lots of ‘golden moments’ – what fun! I want to be like her! · Fantastic practical & useable ideas – very inspirational! · Fresh & lively & lots of ideas to use with both adults and children. · Superb. Hadn’t heard Jenny before and found her inspirational & great to listen to. · An excellent session – hooray for someone who recognises how teachers neglect themselves & making us stop and think of our own needs as well as those of the children. · Excellent session with great ideas for circle time & discussion. · Great ideas – lovely that she was focused on the teacher as a person who needs looking after.
