Wed, Mar 23rd 2011
Jenny is delighted to be heading off to Chlie for the ABSCh Educational Conference which is on 9th April 2011.
The Association of British Schools in Chile (ABSCh) is holding its 24th Educational conference on 9th April 2011. There will be presentations in English with simultaneous translations into Spanish. The conference is entitled: “Building Bridges for Learning” and there will be presentations from renowned educational experts including:
Jenny Mosley, emotional learning, Quality Circle Time
Emma Bull, film and visual literacy
Tom Connelly, collaborating and connecting through the internet
Thomas Kiddle, new approaches in the teaching of English
The whole event promises to be very enlightening and we wish the conference well. Jenny will be spending the rest of the week working and training in Chilean schools and settings.
During the training and conferencing, Jenny is set to work with different age groups of children to provide observation circle times. Jenny asks to give her their challenging classes, who have had no coaching in circle time, so that she can deal with the dynamics of the group through the underlying psychological structures, ground rules and principles.
Following Chile, Jenny is all set for a full week’s training in Bermuda at the Warwick Academy from Monday - Friday 11th- 15th April 2011. Jenny will be working with staff on various aspects of the Quality Circle Time model.
