Positive Press' first Welsh Language Resources - Out Now!

Positive Press is delighted to announce that its first Welsh language resources are now available. We have been working with Bethan James, Healthy Schools Officer for Carmarthenshire, who said schools had expressed a demand for more resouces in Welsh. Bethan provided the translations for these posters. Our bright and vibrant "Y 5 Sgil - Five Skills" poster sets and "Y Rheolau Aur -Golden Rules" poster sets are now available.
At the heart of all learning is the ability of children to use their thinking, looking, speaking, listening and concentrating skills. The Primary National Strategy adopted our Five Skills for the beginning of each SEAL and SEAD circle sessions. Now here are the Five Skills posters in Welsh to display in Welsh speaking classrooms so they can be referred to throughout the day.
Research tells us that chaotic children don't learn well from just spoken or written words and that good visual images can 'hit' the right 'bit' of the brain to alert them to what to do. Designed by Jenny Mosley and now in Welsh, these specially thought-out images illustrate the 6 Golden Rules.
