Abstract
The intention of this project is to examine how, through the use of Circle Time pupils can have the opportunity to:
- Explore the factors that effect their learning and relationships
- Take responsibility for their own behaviour
- Provide solutions for ‘problems’
It will evaluate the effect these practices might have on:
- Raising self-esteem
- Creating positive behaviour
- Raising achievements
- Reducing referrals for report
- Preventing exclusions
It will analyse how Circle Time might best fit into the institutional structure or culture of schools.
