Developing A Holistic Approach To Emotional Health - creating the work/life balance
Holistic comes from the word ‘whole’ – a total being – a completeness. This day is designed to offer a variety of experiences that you can then utilise in your home and within your working environment. This course refers to Jenny Mosley's five wells model. This is a system whereby people 'revisit' the resources in their lives that they need - including wells for physical, emotional, spiritual, creative and intellectual well-being. This model has been used and referenced in the National College for School Leadership (NCSL) "Staff Well-being Resource".
This day will:
- enable you to assess and meet your physical, mental, emotional creative and spiritual needs
- demonstrate basic skills of massage and simple visualisations
- enable you to take away practical ideas to encourage young people to explore ways of seeking more balanced lifestyles.
