Developing A Holistic Approach To Emotional Health - creating the work/life balance

Holistic comes from the word ‘whole’ – a total being – a completeness. This day is designed to offer a variety of experiences that you can then utilise in your home and within your working environment. This course refers to Jenny Mosley's five wells model. This is a system whereby people 'revisit' the resources in their lives that they need - including wells for physical, emotional, spiritual, creative and intellectual well-being. This model has been used and referenced in the National College for School Leadership (NCSL) "Staff Well-being Resource".

This day will:

  • enable you to assess and meet your physical, mental, emotional creative and spiritual needs
  • demonstrate basic skills of massage and simple visualisations
  • enable you to take away practical ideas to encourage young people to explore ways of seeking more balanced lifestyles.

This course is equally applicable to Early Years, primary and secondary settings, however it may also be aimed at other organisational settings, for example, Children's Centres.
