Switching Children On To Learning - Early Years, primary and secondary

What can “switch a child on” to becoming a good learner? The degree to which children are emotionally and cognitively present or engaged and “switched on” in the learning process has a profound effect on whether learning takes place.

This course:

  • helps you to examine the optimum state of learning
  • provides you with practical and experiential skills to help children to achieve this state.
  • enables you to become a more effective and vibrant teacher

This course is equally suitable for Early Years, primary and secondary settings and other organisations such as Children's Centres. Each age group will gain something slightly different, but equally vital, from work in this area.
