Boosting Oracy in Primary Schools

Jenny is delighted now to be able to offer oracy training and workshops. There are many advantages to this style of training, including: 

This training looks at how teachers and all staff can promote Positive Learning Communities in the classroom by promoting good listening skills and encouraging children to take more responsibility for their own behaviour and relationships.  Jenny will demonstrate listening skills first with classes of children, each demonstration followed by a session for feedback and discussion;  Jenny will highlight the qualities that need to develop to promote listening skills, oracy, group work, mental health and emotional wellbeing in the classroom.  Jenny is passionate about working with the innate wisdom of children as a powerful forum for change.
