Attending the Torfaen Childcare Celebration Event 2025

I have recently come back from this incredible Childcare Celebration evening in Torfaen. It was held in a beautiful church and the whole Childcare Development Team had decorated it with twinkling lights. There were trestle tables full of food and a real ethos of warmth and pleasure in seeing each other.

My goodness Torfaen really appreciates these workers. They had all sorts of video messages from key people from the council. They had two fantastic speakers on before me.

I had an hour and a half with them all and what a wonderful group of people they were!

I needed them to really engage with play and fun and the child within all of us – and despite the fact everyone must have been tired as they had worked all day – they really gave me a lot of their energy and positivity. Together we danced, clapped, sang and laughed.

Thank you to the whole Childcare Team for the huge hard work that went into making this event so successful – and thank you so much for inviting me!! I had such a wonderful evening and floated back to the hotel on a cloud
