With the rise in Breakfast Clubs in schools – it might be useful to know that Jenny Mosley’s training for Midday Supervisors and T.A.s is also applicable for Breakfast Club and After School Clubs staff.
A continuum of guidelines, expectations and also play and playfulness provides a more holistic daily approach for children and staff alike. Golden Rules, Classroom Golden Rules and Playground Golden Rules all work together to form a safe and respectful working and playing environment for all and these can extend into Breakfast and After School Clubs.
Schools do not have to shut for these training days – Jenny will work around your staff, children and around your school day timetable.

Here are a few comments we have received for Jenny’s Lunchtimes and Playtimes and also Wellbeing and Circle Times training – there are many more available upon request!
Jason Gathercole (Headteacher) Mereside C of E Primary School
Jenny has single handedly done more for the mental well-being of the children (and teachers!) of this country in the past 20 years than any other organisation. Her viewpoint that behaviour is a form of communication and that we need to learn how to listen and respond with love, understanding and fun is absolutely spot on.
Julie Barlow (deputy head) – Blaise Primary and Nursery January 2025
Your training today was MAGNIFICENT!!! We have never received such positive feedback from our staff.
The impact on our well-being and the provision for our children has been so so positive. You are a legend and it has been an honour to have you at our school. What can we do next?
Massimo Bonaddio (head) – Blaise Primary and Nursery January 2025
There is a real buzz about around the school, and lunchtimes have immediately become more fun. Thank you.
John Calvert (head) Littlemead Primary Academy School February 2025
I am thrilled that you were able to help us and build towards that positivity. We are doing our first circle times on Monday morning. Just setting ground rules. I wanted to let you know that your influence is going to help a lot of children in Southmead. Many thanks from me and the rest of the team who are all buzzing afterwards and keen as mustard to get started.
Ian Read (head) Watercliffe Meadow Primary School November 2024
Since the pandemic there has been a universal acknowledgement of the impact of trauma and adverse childhood experiences in schools. Sheffield has responded to this with a suite of training and support around trauma and relational practice that supports children’s well-being and resilience…. In my long-time experience working in this field, I have not found anything that gives schools a structure and systems to support a whole school culture for emotional well-being that is as good as Jenny’s Golden Model.
