Pioneering a New Type of Learning for Teachers; An Immersion Course Run in Partnership With My Quality Circle Time Gold Award School Watercliffe Meadow, Sheffield.

Ian Read and I have been working together for over 24 years. Our work has been supported by Lord Blunkett and recently we received this comment from Bridget Philipson the Secretary of State for Education… “I am very grateful to you or sharing insights into how Ms Mosley and Mr Read have worked to build effective sources of support to promote children’s learning and development, wellbeing and resilience. For many years, I have run a huge range of Quality Circle Time Train The Trainers courses. Some I have run independently in lovely venues, daily teaching by me and visits to observe Circle Times in schools – followed with evening Creative Arts workshops.

Right now, 2025/26, I am working with Ian Read to create what we are calling an Immersion Course. This time we want our teachers to be immersed in the life of the school to see the Quality Circle Time Model in Action. So far, delegates have had workshops from Ian, Emma Wayper – his deputy and from the children. They have visited Golden Time in Action (there are 24 clubs every Friday) and they have been engaged with the Year Six pupils around how the Golden Rules work in their school.
