The Golden School Watercliffe Meadow in Sheffield is opening its doors on 27th and 28th June for a 2-day training and observation course. Day 1 – with Jenny – the theory and approaches that really work Day 2 – meet the teachers, pupils, see Circle Times, fantastic lunchtimes and playtimes and more. Do come along and be inspired. Watercliffe Meadow ‐ A ‘ Golden School’

Since the opening of Watercliffe Meadow in September 2008, staff have worked tirelessly to create an inclusive learning climate that ‘ walks the talk’. We will show you how we implement Jenny’s model as a system linked to our safeguarding procedures, which supports the social and emotional well‐being of all children and adults in school and creates a climate in which all children can thrive.

A WHOLE SCHOOL APPROACH – PUTTING THEORY INTO PRACTICE

DAY 1 – Thursday 27th June 2013 – A day with Jenny exploring her QCT model

Re-energising Circle Time – The Quality Circle Time model to promote self‐esteem, respect, positive behaviour and learning.

Listening Systems- implementing listening systems at whole school, class and individual level, ensuring emotional health and well‐being.

Powerfully Positive Lunchtimes ‐ help your school have calmer and more productive lunchtimes. Tried and tested ideas, which can be used immediately.
