At ENABLE Early Years Conference 2015

I was delighted to attend the ENABLE 2015 conference today! Wow! Congratulations to Helen Lumgair for such an inspiring day. She managed to bring together so many people who truly care about children and have devoted their lives to getting people to think about the truth. Too many great speakers to mention them all individually, so here are just a few snippets!

I really enjoyed listening to Barbara Isaacs – so full of common sense – speaking about how children are their own catalysts for change. She’s absolutely right – if we can enrich and inspire children aged 0 – 6 years – this is a more important time in their lives than when they go to university.

I am pleased to have caught Michael Rosen’s presentation. He has always been one of my heroes and I love the fact that he speaks the truth and is the human, calm voice of common sense. Why don’t we all join with him and oppose the Government? Michael has just written a humerous blog with a very funny story about Alice in Wonderland and the tests for 7 year olds. Do go onto his blog and have a look. What a great bloke!

There’s plenty more that I could say, but for now I’m going to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy being here!
