Circle Time in India – What a Glowing Letter to The Teacher Foundation!

Jenny has long had strong links with The Teacher Foundation – working with the Founder and Director Maya Menon. Jenny has trained in India on several important training trips – the latest one being in 2017. The Teacher Foundation has adopted Quality Circle Time as a key method to be delivered to the teachers that they reach out to. One headteacher has written into the Foundation with thanks and documenting the changes. Apart from acknowledging that QCT can help some children develop relationship skills, where they didn’t naturally express this skill. This sounds fantastic – our hearty congratulations to Maya and the team and the Headteacher of the school.

The Headteacher has also noticed how students are helping to promote discipline during recess, and to volunteer for early morning support roles – arriving at 6.30am to proudly carry out their morning duties. And students are queuing up to volunteer for tasks! She is also impressed by her young children learning and practicing the skills involved in problem-solving at a young age.

This sounds fantastic – our hearty congratulations to Maya and the team and the Headteacher of the school – it sounds like a great project and we would love to hear how it unfolds!
